| Five Vilas employees interested in buyout |

By Ken Anderson News Correspondent The Vilas County Personnel Committee was informed last week that, at this point, less than a half dozen county employees are taking advantage of the voluntary reduction in force incentives. According to human resource manager Janna Kahl, there have been five persons showing interest in leaving county employment under the 45-day window. “There is an information technology specialist, the veterans service officer, a Commission on Aging benefits specialist, a jail sergeant, and a transfer of a zoning deputy to the treasurer’s department,” Kahl said. |
