|Plum Lake Association opposes statewide motor trolling proposal|

The Plum Lake Association has come out against motor trolling on North Woods lakes, sending a letter in opposition to the proposed rule change to the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board and Gov. Scott Walker.
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is proposing to allow trolling statewide with up to three hooks, baits or lures per anglers. The proposed rule change will be presented to sportsmen and -women at the annual Spring Fish and Wildlife Public Hearing Monday, April 8, in all 72 counties.John Richter, vice president of the association, wrote that lakes, such as Plum Lake in
