Hendricks edges Siegfried in city council election PDF Print E-mail


Incumbent council member Carol Hendricks edged challenger Rollin Siegfried in Tuesday’s election in Eagle River Aldermanic District 4.

Hendricks received 25 votes, while Siegfried garnered 24 votes. City officials note that absentee ballots will be accepted through this Friday, so the results are not official.

The other city council members, Dan Grosskopf, Jerry Burkett and Kim

Schaffer were unopposed, as was Mayor Jeffrey Hyslop.


Hendricks has been on the city council for 12 years and is a former small-business owner. She operated Hooks 'n Needles in downtown Eagle River for 19 years.

Siegfried is a retired biologist and has lived in Eagle River for the past 10 years.
