Bill Jamerson speaks on CCC at historical museum open house

The Phelps Historical Museum recently hosted an open house which included refreshments, music and speaker Bill Jamerson, who gave a presentation on the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC).

The CCC was a federal program created by President Franklin Roosevelt in 1933 which put men to work restoring natural resources, building roads and fighting forest fires.
