|Deer hunt meetings kick off in Eagle River|

A?series of public hearings held by Department of Natural Resources (DNR) wildlife experts on proposed rules relating to implementation of the Deer Trustee Report will kick off next week in Eagle River.
From Oct. 22 to Oct. 31, the DNR will host the public hearings on the proposed Deer Trustee Report rules at 35 locations statewide.
Topics in the recommendations include consolidation of deer units, methods for monitoring deer populations, bag limits, eliminating in-person deer registration, management assistance to landowners and baiting and feeding.In this area, the hearings will be held in Eagle River Tuesday, Oct. 22,
