Area volunteers are key to youth clothing program

Warm The Children, a non­profit program sponsored by the Vilas County News-Review under the auspices of the Eagle River Rotary Foundation, provides new winter clothing to eligible children. It also provides benefits to the adults who assist the families as volunteer shoppers.

Now in its 17th year, the program has added five new volunteers this year for a total of 59 shoppers. Participating stores this year are Shopko Hometown and Glik’s, both in Eagle River.
