City eyes sale of two properties

Offers to purchase two properties owned by the city were discussed by the Eagle River City Council in a special session last week and the council decided to make counteroffers on both parĀ­cels.
An offer of $146,000 was received from Gateway Properties and Arthur Sorg for 18.05 acres at the intersection of highways 45 and G north of the city.
