|Private schools face closer look from WIAA|

The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) is starting to make some progress when it comes to private schools dominating tournament play.
The membership of the WIAA voted to move the discussion regarding the impact of private schools on the association to committee at its annual meeting last week in Stevens Point.While an amendment that would have applied a 1.65 multiplier to private member schools for tournament divisional placements did not reach a vote, the membership voted to send the issue to committee by a 352-77 count.
