Natural resources career workshop planned at Trees

Trees For Tomorrow is accepting applications from high school students interested in attending a week-long Natural Resources Careers Workshop set June 16-20 at the Trees campus in Eagle River.

The workshop will introduce students to foresters, fisheries, wildlife biologists, water resource specialists, recreation land managers and other natural resources professionals.

“It truly is designed to help students discover whether a natural resources career is right for them, and if so, what area or focus they might want to pursue,” said Joe Panci, a teacher/naturalist at Trees and coordinator of the workshop.

Students will experience real-life fieldwork
