DNR public hearing on Wild Eagle piers scheduled today

A public hearing on a proposal to allow the Wild Eagle Lodge Condo Association to place multiple new piers on Duck and Lynx lakes on the Eagle River Chain of Lakes will be today, Wednesday, April 23, at 1 p.m. at the Lincoln Town Hall at 2105 Sundstein Road in Eagle River.

The association has apĀ­plied for a permit through the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) according to Kyle McLaughlin, DNR water regulations and zoning specialist in RhineĀ­lander.

The proposed project consists of placing up to five piers with the combined capacity of 68 boat slips along the shoreline in front of the Wild Eagle Lodge property in the town of Washington.
