Veterans who left to serve offered high school diploma PDF Print E-mail

Letter to the Editor:

The state of Wisconsin has a program under statute 120.13(37) for providing high school diplomas to veterans who left high school for wartime military service.

Both the Northland Pines and Three Lakes school districts are looking for local veterans who are 65 or older, left a Wisconsin high school to enter service, were honorably discharged and currently live in either the Northland Pines or Three Lakes school districts.

If these criteria apply to you and you would like to be included as part of the 2014 graduating class of either the Northland Pines or the Three Lakes school districts, please contact the applicable school district office that you live in.

This law also applies if you have a GED degree and wish to join either graduation.

Capt. Terry McCloskey
