Learning to dance
The Northland Pines Middle School eighth-grade physical education classes just finished up a three-week dance unit. The unit consisted of three social dances — the box step, the Texas two-step and East Coast swing. The classes celebrated the end of the dance unit with a Swing Dance Party last Wednesday in the middle school gymnasium. Students were encouraged to dress up for this event in clothing from that time period. —Staff Photo By GARY RIDDERBUSCH
