After working in the Vilas County clerk office for nearly 30 years, I retired only to start working as an elected county board supervisor representing District 19, Wards 1, 2 and 3 of the city of Eagle River. I served my constituents for the next 10 years and made a decision not to run for re-election this spring and retire again.
During my tenure, I saw quite a few changes take place. The biggest change being the implementation of Act 10. Vilas County adapted and has moved forward with great strides toward bringing the budget under control.
