Nicolet Foundation gives 308 scholarships

The Nicolet College Foundation has awarded a record 308 scholarships for the 2014-’15 academic year, nearly double the number awarded 10 years ago.

“Scholarships make it possible for many students to attend college who may otherwise not get the education they need to improve their lives,” said Heather Schallock, executive director of the Nicolet College Foundation.

“The foundation’s growth over the years has been due to the generous support of a growing number of donors and to each and every one of them we extend a huge thank you,” added Schallock.

In all, the foundation has awarded $361,000 in scholarships
