Oneida County Health Department (OCHD) will offer free COVID-19 vaccines at Rouman Cinema in Rhinelander Tuesday, May 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

No appointments are needed.

This clinic will provide either the Moderna or the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to any individual 18 years of age and older, according to Linda Conlon, OCHD director.

“Simply walk in and our friendly staff will be there to help you,” said Conlon. “The best part is, Rouman Cinema will be providing free popcorn to anyone who gets vaccinated.”

Conlon said the COVID-19 vaccine is very safe.

“The vaccine can protect you from getting sick and potentially prevent you from spreading the virus to those around you,” she said. “Getting vaccinated will be one of the best ways to protect yourself and your community, and bring this pandemic to an end.”
