A packed house was treated to 14 tasty chilies to sample during the Three Lakes-Brule River Trails’ annual Chili Cook-Off held at Pike’s Pine Isle in Three Lakes last weekend.

Attendees were able to sample as much chili as they desired and cast their votes for the winning chili.

The top chili awards went to: first place, Three Lakes-Brule River Trails; second, Three Lakes American Legion; and third, Bonnie’s Lakeside.

More than 150 tickets were sold for the event, which included a large meat raffle, as well as a raffle for a 49-inch LED TV donated by Pike’s Pine Isle for the event.

All proceeds from the cook-off and raffles went to the club to directly support their effort in maintaining the Three Lakes area trail system.
