Fourth-graders at Northland Pines Eagle River Elementary School hosted a Conservation Fair event at the school May 16. This is the third year the school has hosted this event and 12 area organizations participated in the fair. The event was organized as part of the student’s Great Lakes Conservation projects, where they are able to relate their learning with real-world connections for their future. Parents, the public and friends were invited to attend the free event and learn about the many opportunities regarding conservation in the North Woods from area organizations and students.
