The Sno-Eagles Snowmobile Club of Eagle River sponsors weekly snowmobile rides on Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning today, Feb. 17.

Both rides start at the railroad depot in Eagle River at 9 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The Wednesday rides travel approximately 75 to 125 miles. The group picks a destination for the day’s ride and lunch location along the route.

The Thursday rides are shorter. The group selects a destination and what distance they will travel. Typically, the ride is up to 100 miles and the group stops for lunch along the route.

The Wednesday and Thursday rides occur weekly during the snowmobile season depending on snow conditions. Participants are encouraged to follow all local health guidelines for social distancing, masks and hand hygiene when participating in rides this season.

Snowmobilers can call Rusty Wolf, president of the Sno-Eagles, at (262) 442-4876 for questions or more information.

All rides are contingent upon trail conditions. Trail conditions are updated daily on the Sno-Eagles website at snoeagles.org.
