Make Music Day is a nationwide event happening in over 800 cities Tuesday, June 21, the longest day of the year.

The LOLA Arts will be putting on a day filled with free music events in Land O’ Lakes, the smallest town celebrating in Wisconsin.

Starting at 10 a.m. and running until 6 p.m., musicians will be setting up and playing free concerts around different Land O Lakes businesses, both indoors and outdoors, weather permitting.

Attendees will be able to listen to all the local and regional talent, including 16-year-old singer/songwriter Irene Weinhagen from the Twin Cities playing outside the library, local Eclectic Trio Band performing at the Sawbuck, and The Woodland Strings who will be kicking off Car Park Music Series held at the Snowflake Building.

There will be different opportunities to play the steel drums or for participants to join in LOLA’s Make Music Day parade at noon.
