The Northwoods Alliance for Temporary Housing (NATH) Board of Directors, operators of the Frederick Place shelter in Rhinelander, announced last week they had made the “difficult decision” to cancel its annual anniversary benefit, which was to be held Feb. 5 at Cabaret Cove in Rhinelander.

The anniversary benefit is NATH’s largest annual fundraiser and celebration.

“We are moving some of the anniversary events to virtual events, beginning on March 4,” the board announced. “We will be using Facebook for the events, which include a dessert dash, a basket raffle and a live auction. Items that have been donated will be used for the online auctions. Please watch your emails, the NATH website and Frederick Place Facebook page for more details. We are planning to make the remainder of 2022 a celebration of our 11-year anniversary.”
