Individuals interested in learning how to play pickleball or further developing their skills are invited to join members of the Eagle River Pickleball Association (ERPA) from 6 to 9 p.m. Mondays at the Northland Pines High School field house.

The club will provide equipment and basic instruction for those new to the sport during this open play time, said Barbara Helmick, president of ERPA.

“Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the country. It’s fun, easy to learn and good for people of all ages and all skill levels,” Helmick said. “Plus, it’s a very social game. You can make a lot of new friends while getting great exercise.”

ERPA will be using Court 3 at the field house on Mondays through the end of February. Participants should enter the building via Door 15 on the back side of the school. Also, participants should take athletic shoes to wear while playing.
