The Three Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Dennis Meadows as its newly-appointed executive director.
Meadows began his role Jan. 3, taking over for Collette Sorgel.
Recently returning to the Three Lakes area from Alaska, Meadows brings extensive knowledge and experience in operational management, as well as nonprofit and organizational leadership.
While in Alaska, he served numerous south-central communities as the executive director for tourism marketing efforts within the state — his reach spanning locally, across the lower 48 states, as well as internationally.
He brings a strong understanding of the tourism industry and its impact on the local economy. Alongside that understanding, Meadows said he is committed to maintaining positive community involvement and spirit through valuable membership and building trust and relationships within the community.
“What we deliver is an experience. The key is to ensure that everything we do, every time, is to make that experience a positive one,” Meadows said. “With an abundance to natural resources within the area, partnering opportunities, and motivation, I am excited and proud to be a part of both the chamber and the community’s future.”
Meadows added that he believes in the Three Lakes chamber, its mission, and its community.
Meadows is joined by his wife, Lisa, and daughter, Jewel. The family enjoys fishing and other outdoor adventures.
To contact Meadows, stop in at 1704 Superior St., call (715) 546-3344, or email info@threelakes.com
