Beth Ann Patterson, a resident of Sugar Camp, Wis. passed away at home on Saturday, March 10, 2021, after a long struggle with pain and periods of mental distress. Beth Ann was born on March 12, 1963, in DeKalb, Ill., to Jack Morrison and Pat Pennebaker Morrison in the middle of a spring snowstorm. 

She graduated from Northland Pines High School in 1981 and later went on to graduate in health care from Nicolet College. She loved music (played the tuba in the school band), books, movies and caring for people. She was a writer, artist and had a wicked sense of humor. Of her many talents, Beth possessed the ability to heal through love and light, along with serving others with her knowledge and intuition of natural medicine. 

Beth is survived by her mother: Pat Morrison Rosenak; children: Scott Elliott (Kiev, Ukraine), Kayla Elliott and Briar Patterson; sisters: Carol Morrison Healy and Susie Morrison Lutz (Gary); four grandchildren: Emma Elliott, Vladislav Elliott, Victor Elliott and Mia Elliott; as well as nieces, nephews and other family members. 

A memorial service will take place on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 3 p.m. at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home, 304 E. Division St, Eagle River, Wis. Sharing of memories will be from 2 to 

3 p.m. Burial by private ceremony will be at the Eagle River Cemetery immediately following the service.

Emma is hoping everyone will wear colorful clothing in remembrance of her Nana.
