KIMBERLY — Chris A. Wise, age 75, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Dec. 9, 2021.

He was born on Dec. 24, 1945, in Illinois.

He married Jan Buccini on Sept. 2, 1967, and recently they celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary.

Chris retired after a long career as a financial advisor with M&I Bank.

After retirement, Chris and Jan spent 16 years living on Plum Lake near Eagle River, Wis. There he enjoyed fishing with his buddies and family and spending time on the lake. Chris volunteered with the lake association and also with his church and Habitat for Humanity.

Chris loved to travel and take road trips with his family. He enjoyed coaching soccer and was also a Civil War buff. He enjoyed visiting battlegrounds and collecting items from the war.

Chris was very handy and enjoyed building projects.

Chris is survived by his wife, Jan; children, John, Nate and Mary Wise; grandchildren, Madison, Owen and Olivia; several other extended family members; and friends.

Memorial services were held Dec. 16 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Appleton, Wis.
