Edward R. Seiter Jr., 71, a longtime resident of Conover, Wis., and Sayner, Wis., passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, at Friendly Village in Rhinelander, Wis.

Edward was born in Illinois on Jan. 31, 1948, the son of Edward R. and Ruth L. (Samulowitz) Seiter Sr.

Edward was a 1966 graduate of Crete-Monee High School.

He lived in Illinois, Rhine­lander, Conover and Sayner.

Edward had been a radio announcer in Tomahawk, Wis., working for WJJQ and was the former owner of Sub City in Eagle River, Wis.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, photography, stained glass mosaics and had a large loom. He was also an avid reader, enjoying Stephen King and science fiction.

He will be dearly missed by his sister, Kathryn Seiter of Sayner, and very dear friend, Viola Kien of Conover. Also surviving are other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ruth Seiter Sr., and all of his aunts and uncles.
