Gordon Sands “Gordy” Falk died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at Phelps Care in Phelps. He was 76.

Mr. Falk was born May 30, 1943, in Milwaukee to Sands Gordon and Charlotte Falk.  

He graduated from Marquette University High School and Regis College.  

After college, he served in Okinawa as a naval intelligence officer.

Mr. Falk carved approximately 800 pumpkins each October, earning himself the title of “The Pumpkin Man.”  

His favorite place was the Falk family compound in Land O’ Lakes. He spent a lot of time working on the property and putting his craftsman skills to work.

Mr. Falk is survived by four children, Katherine MacIntosh, Sands (Rachel), Mercedes, and Michael (Melissa); four grandchildren; former wife, Katie; six siblings, Kathleen Fisher, Mary (Tracy) Mehan, Barbara, Robert (Kandice), Michael (Anne), Elizabeth (Robert) Sather; 28 nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 4:15 p.m. at St. Monica Parish in Whitefish Bay. A reception will follow in the church hall.
