Karen Klumpp, a resident of Conover, died Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at Rennes Health and Rehab Center in Rhine­lander. She was 78. 

Mrs. Klumpp was born on Oct. 3, 1941, in Milwaukee to Emil and Hermine “Minna” Klewein. 

She enjoyed scrapbooking, knitting, crocheting, sewing and bowling.

Mrs. Klumpp was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Kenneth; and her first husband, Lynn Klemann.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Gene; one son, Randy (Shannon); one daughter, Diana (Steve); one stepson, Chad Klumpp; two stepdaughters, Dawn (Bob) Finn­egan and Wendy Pier­dzioch; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Katie (John) Sorcic. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14, at noon at Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
