On May 14, 2019, at age 96 years, Lillian Nikolai peacefully passed on.

She was preceded in her death by her husband, Edward Nikolai; and brothers, Bill and Bud Albert.

Lillian was born and lived her entire life in Eagle River, Wis. She was the only surviving member of many friends and family of the “Greatest Generation.”

She would joyfully share in great detail all her many memories of times past.

Lillian was a great fisherwoman. She loved being out on the lakes and took home enough fish for all our neighbors. In her later years she would have grand dreams of fishing that gave her such pleasure.

Lillian was a force for life. She left an impression on all who met her. We were blessed with her presence for many years.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Errol Frazier; her son and daughter-in-law, Karl and Janet Nikolai; and granddaughter, Natasha Nikolai.

In her last seven years she lived in Rennes Health Care Center where she was well cared for by the many angels who work there. We are so grateful for all who loved and cared for our mother, Lillian.
