Linda Su­san Liebelt, 70, of Eagle River, Wis., passed away peacefully at home Thurs­day, Oct. 24, 2019.

She was born Aug. 9, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wis.

“Auntie Minnie” was a longtime resident of Colgate, Wis.

Linda was a retired LPN who earned her certification at WCTC and was employed at the Sage Nursing/retirement home in Milwaukee for many years before retiring to Eagle River in 2009.

Her loving and compassionate nature made her a wonderful wife, mother, grand­mother, sister, aunt and friend to so many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Everts and Elizabeth Everts (Lehman); brother, Paul Everts, and brother-in-law, Gregg Zancanaro, all of Milwaukee.

Linda is survived by her husband of 51 years, Walter Liebelt; her children, Timothy (Jodi) Liebelt of Aurora, Ill., Tammy (Dusan) Vasic of New Berlin, Wis., and Todd (Holly) Liebelt of Wausau, Wis.;  her six grandchildren, Jared and Jordyn Liebelt, Nikola and Natalia Vasic, Taylor and Hannah Liebelt.

She is also survived by sisters, Nancy (Hans) Harlass of Lewisville, Texas, Janice (Alan) Gerbitz of Batavia, Ill., and Janet Zancanaro of Milwaukee; brothers, Dennis (Cindy) Everts of Mansfield, Texas, and Keith (Mary) Everts of Hubertus, Wis.;  brother-in-law, Werner (Edeltraut) Liebelt of Worstadt, Germany; plus many cherished nieces, nephews and friends.

Services to be held Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, at Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home, 304 E. Division St., Eagle River. Visitation at 1 p.m. and service at 2 p.m. with a luncheon to follow at Eagle River Inn, 5260 WI-70, Eagle River.
