Marilyn Frances (Rich­ard­son) Topp, age 94, of Delavan, Wis., died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020.

Daughter of the late Frank and Marie (Miller) Richardson, Marilyn was born in Chicago, Ill., on the Fourth of July 1926.

She was united in marriage to the late Albert “Chris” Topp Sr. on July 16, 1946, in Chicago.

During her life, Marilyn was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother, and involved in local organizations.

She was a lifetime member of the Chicago PTA, lifetime member of the VFW Eagle River, Wis. chapter, an Order of the Eastern Star member of the Eagle River chapter, and the past president of the American Legion Auxiliary 431 of Three Lakes, Wis.

She was a huge lifelong fan of the Cubs. 

Marilyn is survived by her three children, Scott (Lela) Topp, Albert “Chris” Jr. (Silver) Topp, and Christina Norin; her beloved granddaughter, Taralee Norin; and her sister, Shirley (Carl) Borchardt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years; and her sister, Dolores Ori. 

Per her request there will be no services and interment will be private. Memorial donations can be made in Marilyn’s honor to the Shriners Hospital for Children at or to 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607. Online condolences at
