Patricia “Pat” Williquette, a 46-year resident of Eagle River, died Monday, Oct. 28, 2019. She was 86. 

She was born April 16, 1933, in Green Bay to Martin and Edna Van Veghel.

Her occupation for most of her life was bookkeeping. She retired from M&I Bank in 1996.

Ms. Williquette was an active member at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Eagle River where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also volunteered at St. Peter’s Thrift Store, which she helped open 23 years ago.

She enjoyed tending her flower gardens, sitting on her swing, looking at the beautiful trees, and visiting with neighbors. She looked forward to going to Door County twice a year with her daughter, and loved a good old-fashioned.

Ms. Williquette was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and one sister.

She is survived by two children, Julie (Mark) Oberg, and Jeff (Melinda) Williquette; one brother, Lyle (Betty) Van Veghel, three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three step-grandchildren.

Services were held Nov. 4 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.
