Ramona J. Dillman, age 90, a resident of Eagle River, Wis., and formerly of Center, Ind., died on Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, at Copperleaf Memory Care in Rothschild, Wis.
She was born in Burlington, Ind., on Nov. 17, 1929, to Oral and Helen Shirar.
She married her husband, Lloyd, on Dec. 12, 1952, in Indiana.
Ramona’s hobbies included bird watching, knitting and playing cards. She enjoyed helping out at Pride of the North Resort.
Ramona was a member of the St. Germain United Church of Christ and SERVE at the Kalmar Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Lloyd Dillman; son, Mark William Dillman; parents, Oral and Helen Shirar; son-in-law, Jacob Dillon Jr.; two brothers and a half-sister.
Ramona is survived by her son, Eric (Judi) Dillman of Eagle River; daughter, Jeannie Dillon of Plainfield, Ind.; brother, Frank (Arlis) Shirar of Iowa; sister, Alice Shields of Kokomo, Ind.; as well as nieces, nephews, numerous cousins, and other family and friends.
She loved her grand animals which include grand dogs, Layla and Scarlett; grand cats, Tiggie and Autumn; and grand birds, Pete, Dakota and Sam.
A graveside service will be held at a later date in Burlington.
