Robert “Bob” Potter, a resident of Eagle River, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020, at Milestone Senior Living. He was 96.

He was born July 20, 1924, in Ripon, to Raymond and Elva Potter.

Mr. Potter served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a music teacher for 35 years, a majority of that time at Brookfield East High School. He also enjoyed cooking.

Mr. Potter was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Potter; his parents; and one sister.

He is survived by one son, Michael (Mary) Potter of Eagle River; two daughters, Linda (Rick) Brackman of Sussex, and Laurie Potter of St. Paul, Minn.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River is serving the family.
