William E. Meihack entered this world Dec. 23, 1928. December 31, 2020, Bill passed to eternal life to join his creator, his wife, Jean, and his son, William.

He is survived by his son, David and his son, Steven (Janeen); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Nicholas and Benjamin (Wei); and great-grandchildren, Mars and Maia.

William, after graduating from high school in 1946, enlisted in the U.S. Army, August 1946, serving in Korea, and discharged January 1948.

Fall of 1948, he attended Michigan Technological University and graduated in 1952, with a degree in engineering.

He married Jean Sheddell Sept. 10, 1949.

William worked for AMOCO Oil Co. (BP) 1952-1986. He was assigned to projects in Mandan, North Dakota; London, England; Milford Haven, Wales; and Trinidad, UAE. He worked on a variety of construction projects related to refinery construction, offshore oil and gas and natural gas condensate.

William was an avid trap shooter, an avid hunter and had an amazing imagination and desire to never give up.
