William “Willie” Jackl, age 72, a resident of Conover, Wis., died on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021.
He was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on June 28, 1948, to William and Doris Jackl.
Bill was a co-owner of Lynn’s Service in Milwaukee. He moved to Conover in April of 1987.
Bill worked at McCormack’s Cisco Chain Marina in Land O’ Lakes, Wis.
He enjoyed spending time with family, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Bill was a true friend and always willing to help. He was also known as “HYP” or Handsome Young Prince.
Bill was a member of the Wisconsin Bowhunters Association and a past Director of District 2 for many years.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sandy.
He is survived by his sons, Jeffery of Land O’ Lakes, and Michael (Molly) of Horicon, Wis.; brother, John (Mary) of Phelps, Wis.; sister, Joanne Smith of Sussex, Wis.; grandchildren, Logan, Liam and Quinlin; cousins, John and Mary Lederer of Eagle River, Wis.; further survived by Jeremy, Chad, Kiwi; as well as other family and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

I knew Bill for 50+ years and don’t ever remember seeing him without a smile. My sympathies to his family. No more pain or suffering.
