Dear Editor:

Climate change is here and it always has been here.

Kris Anderson wrote in last week’s edition that “we here in northern Wisconsin haven’t directly experienced many of the dire disasters the world is facing like the melting of the glaciers . . .”

What? Most of Wisconsin’s topography is thought to be the result of a glacier expanding, moving into Wisconsin and then melting.

That happened long before carbon emissions.

Until someone can explain to me why the Wisconsin glacier melted, I will continue to believe the climate changes with or without our help.

That being said, God expects us to be good stewards of the Earth and resources he has blessed us with. We can do that without bearing a disproportionate burden imposed by United Nations climate summits and the unaffordable Green New Deal.
