North Country Chapter of Whitetails Unlimited (WTU) will sponsor a fundraising banquet Thursday, Feb. 11, at Eagle Waters Resort in Eagle River.
Tickets are $45 for a single membership. There is a Feb. 5 deadline for tickets. No tickets will be sold at the door. All attendees will receive a WTU knife and entry into a drawing for major door prizes. A junior membership ticket (age 15 and under) is offered for $25.
This event will feature a dinner, auction and door prizes. Items to be won or auctioned include firearms, outfitter packages, outdoor-related equipment, artwork and WTU collectibles. The social hour will begin at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m.
A table captain package is available for $360 and includes eight single banquet tickets, entry in a table captain deer rifle raffle and a reserved table.
A sportsman’s raffle package is available for $100 (banquet ticket not included) and includes 132 sportsman’s raffle tickets (at least one firearm per 10 packages, plus other outdoor items) and a WTU gift.
Sponsorships are offered for $200 in cash or $300 in merchandise, and include a WTU sponsor ALPS OutdoorZ duffle, one single banquet ticket and entry into a sponsor-only drawing.
Banquet attendees are invited to take their big buck head mount (one per person) for display at the banquet. Attendees will vote on the best buck to receive a trail camera.
Whitetails Unlimited is a national nonprofit conservation organization with more than 107,000 members.
“Since our founding in 1982, Whitetails Unlimited has expended over $102.7 million through our Grassroots Program on grants and program services that have fostered our mission,” said a WTU spokesĀperson. “Thanks to our 114,000-plus members, volunteers and corporate sponsors, Whitetails Unlimited has earned the reputation of being the nation’s premier organization dedicating its resources to the betterment of the whitetail deer and its environment.”
