Vilas County Sheriff’s Department dispatchers last week reported at least 26 911 hang-ups, one abandoned vehicle, five car vs. deer accidents, two hit-and-run traffic accidents, two vehicle accidents with personal injury, seven nonreportable traffic accidents, 12 vehicle accidents with property damage, two snowmobile accidents, six requests to assist another agency, four burglar alarms, two fire alarms, six ambulance requests, three animal problems, two attempts to locate, 10 requests to assist citizens, two criminal damage to property offenses, eight disturbances, one vehicle fire, three fireworks complaints, one found property report, one fraud complaint, three harassment complaints, one juvenile problem, one Lifeline alarm, one lost property report, three probation violations, two vacation checks, two snowmobile violations, one suicide attempt, four reports of suspicious circumstances, one theft, one ID theft, one threats complaint, five reports of hazardous conditions, four traffic violations, one trespassing offense, one utility problem, one weapons offense and nine welfare checks.

There were at least 46 informational or procedural entries.

In the past week, at least five people were booked at Vilas County Jail, including one for operating after revocation, one for tampering or failing to install ignition interlock device, one for battery, one for disorderly conduct and one for domestic violence.

Three Lakes Police Department reĀ­ported one 911 hang-up, two vehicle accidents, one car vs. deer accident, two alarms, two ambulance requests, one request to assist a citizen, one request to assist another agency, seven business checks, one request for extra patrol, one fire, one report of hazardous conditions, one welfare check, one littering problem, one lost property report, one reckless driving complaint, one shoplifting offense, one snowmobile violation, three reports of suspicious circumstances, seven traffic stops, one vandalism complaint and one vehicle in the ditch.
