Vilas County Sheriff’s Department dispatchers last week reported at least 12 911 hang-ups, 11 car vs. deer accidents, one vehicle accident with personal injury, three nonreportable traffic accidents, three vehicle accidents with property damage, two requests to assist another agency, three burglar alarms, one ambulance request, two animal problems, five attempts to locate, two child abuse or neglect complaints, five requests to assist citizens, one disturbance, five drug problems, two vehicle fires, one drive-off, one dumping problem, one juvenile problem, two Lifeline alarms, one report of lost property, one noise complaint, three probation violations, two vacation checks, one request for officer assistance, three reports of suspicious circumstances, one medications theft, one threats complaint, three reports of hazardous conditions, nine traffic violations, one unsecure premises, one wanted person and six welfare checks.

There were at least 44 informational or procedural entries. In the past week, at least nine people were booked at Vilas County Jail, including  two for operating after revocation, one for misdemeanor bail jumping, one for physical abuse of a child, one for possession of methamphetamine, one for possession of marijuana, two for possession of drug paraphernalia and one for probation violation.

The Three Lakes Police Department reĀ­ported three 911 hang-ups, one vehicle accident, one car vs. deer accident, one ambulance request, one animal problem, 40 business checks, one civil matter, one request for extra patrol, two scam complaints, one sexual assault, one report of suspicious circumstances and eight traffic stops.
