Vilas County Sheriff’s Department dispatchers last week reported at least 40 911 hang-ups, two abandoned vehicles, 11 car vs. deer accidents, one hit-and-run traffic accident, one vehicle accident with personal injury, one nonreportable traffic accident, two vehicle accidents with property damage, six requests to assist another agency, four burglar alarms, one fire alarm, three ambulance requests, three dog bites, two animal problems, one attempt to locate, two ATV?complaints, one business or license problem, one child abuse or neglect complaint, five requests to assist citizens, one citizen/officer complaint, one request, five criminal damage to property offenses, one death investigation, one disorderly conduct offense, two disturbances, five drug problems, two emergency detentions, one wildland fire, one vehicle fire, three reports of found property, two fraud complaints, one internet fraud complaint, one dumping problem, six juvenile problems, five lost property reports, two noise complaints, one parking problem, two probation violations, two vacation checks, one request for officer assistance, one lewd and lascivious complaint, one report of smoke in the area, two suicide attempts, seven reports of suspicious circumstances, six thefts, one automobile theft, six reports of hazardous conditions, nine traffic violations, one road rage complaint, one trespassing offense, one utility problem, three weapons offenses and four welfare checks.

There were at least 37 informational or procedural entries.

In the past week, at least six people were booked at Vilas County Jail, including  one for misdemeanor bail jumping, one for distribution/manufacture of marijuana, one for possession of marijuana, one for possession of drug paraphernalia and two for probation violation.

The Three Lakes Police Department reĀ­ported six 911 hang-ups, three car vs. deer accidents, one vehicle accident with personal injury, one ambulance request, three animal problems, one request to assist a citizen, one request to assist a motorist, one ATV violation, 32 business checks, one civil matter, two disturbances, five requests for extra patrol, one fire, one threats complaint, one report of hazardous conditions, one welfare check, one narcotics violation, one noise complaint, one parking violation, one report of found property, two reports of lost property, three reports of suspicious circumstances, one theft, 14 traffic stops and one vandalism offense.
