Vilas County Sheriff’s Department dispatchers last week reported at least 56 911 hang-ups, one abandoned vehicle, 10 car vs. deer accidents, one hit-and-run traffic accident, one vehicle accident with personal injury, seven vehicle accidents with property damage, two requests to assist another agency, five burglar alarms, six ambulance requests, two dog bites, three animal problems, two attempts to locate, four requests to assist citizens, four criminal damage to property offenses, two death investigations, one disturbance, one domestic violence complaint, three drug problems, four fireworks complaints, two reports of found property, three fraud complaints, two harassment complaints, two juvenile problems, two Lifeline alarms, one littering problem, one lost property report, five noise complaints, one operating while intoxicated offense, seven probation violations, three requests for officer assistance, eight reports of suspicious circumstances, five thefts, one threats offense, one tobacco violation, 16 reports of hazardous conditions, 12 traffic violations, one unsecure premises and five welfare checks.

There were at least 49 informational or procedural entries.

In the past week, at least nine people were booked at Vilas County Jail, including  one for first offense-operating while intoxicated, one for battery, one for theft of moveable property, one for disorderly conduct, one for domestic violence, two for failure to appear and one for probation violation.

The Three Lakes Police Department reĀ­ported nine 911 hang-ups, one vehicle accident, two ambulance requests, six animal problems, two requests to assist citizens, two requests to assist motorists, one request to assist another agency, four boat violations, 15 business checks, three disturbances, one brush fire, one drive-off, one gunshots report, two reports of hazardous conditions, one welfare check, one dumping problem, one missing person, one operating while intoxicated offense, one parking violation, one PREA violation, two reports of found property, one report of lost property, four reckless driving complaints, two runaway juveniles, one report of suspicious circumstances, one traffic complaint and 19 traffic stops.
