Vilas County Sheriff’s Department dispatchers last week reported at least 15 911 hangups, three car vs. deer accidents, one nonreportable traffic accident, three vehicle accidents with property damage, six requests to assist another agency, eight burglar alarms, two fire alarms, two ambulance requests, one animal problem, three attempts to locate, one ATV?complaint, one burglary, 12 requests to assist citizens, one disorderly conduct offense, two disturbances, two domestic violence complaints, eight drug problems, one fire, three reports of found property, one fraud complaint, one internet fraud complaint, two harassment offenses, two dumping problems, one juvenile problem, one report of lost property, two noise complaints, one probation violation, one vacation check, one request for officer assistance, one request to remove a subject, 10 reports of suspicious circumstances, two thefts, one threats complaint, four reports of hazardous conditions, 10 traffic violations, one unsecured premises and eight welfare checks.

There were at least 46 informational or procedural entries.

In the past week, at least 11 people were booked at Vilas County Jail, including one to hold on warrant for another agency, for first offense-operating while intoxicated, one for aggravated substantial battery, one for criminal damage to property, two for disorderly conduct, three for domestic violence and two for probation violation.



Eagle River Police


Among the calls received by Vilas County dispatchers were 28 calls for the Eagle River Police Department. These in­cluded one request to assist a fire/EMS agency, one ambulance request, one animal problem, one request to assist another agency, three citizen disputes, one controlled substance possession offense, one death investigation, two juvenile problems, one lost or found property report, one parking problem, one report of suspicious circumstances, two traffic accidents with property damage, one traffic hazard, two traffic offenses and three welfare checks.

No people were taken into custody and booked into Vilas County Jail.



Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department reported two 911 hangups, one accident, one alarm, one ambulance request, one animal problem, one request to assist a citizen, 21 business checks, eight requests for extra patrol, one welfare check, one burning problem, one missing person, two parking violations, one reckless driving offense, one theft, one traffic complaint and one traffic stop.
