Vilas County Sheriff’s dispatchers last week reported at least 14 911 hangups, five car vs. deer accidents, two accidents with damage, one request for agency assistance, two burglar alarms, two fire alarms, seven ambulance requests, three animal problems, three attempts to locate, one ATV operating while intoxicated (OWI), one ATV complaint, one request to assist citizen, two reports of criminal damage to property, one defraud business, one disturbance, one vehicle fire, one fireworks complaint, three reports of found property, one jail medical incident, one juvenile problem, one Lifeline alarm, two reports of lost property, one parking problem, two vacation checks, one remove subject, two reports of suspicious circumstances, three reports of threats, eight reports of hazardous conditions, seven traffic violations, one trespass to property, one weapon offense and two welfare checks.

There were at least 39 informational or procedural entries.

In the past week, one or more persons were booked at Vilas County Jail for the following offenses: OWI; disorderly conduct; failure to appear; and probation violation.

Eagle River Police

Among the calls received by Vilas County dispatchers were at least 17 calls for the Eagle River Police. These included two alarms, one burglary, one lost or found property, one probation or parole violation, one suspicious circumstances, one threat, one trespass, one traffic offense, one utility problem and four welfare checks.

Two people were taken into custody and booked into Vilas County Jail.

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department reported at least one 911 hang up, two ambulance requests, two animal problems, 24 business checks, one civil matter, two disturbances, three extra patrol requests, one report of harassment, one hazard, two property issues, three reports of reckless driving, one runaway, one speed board, one suspicious circumstances and one traffic stop.
