Vilas County Sheriff’s dispatchers last week reported at least 19 911 hangups, four abandoned vehicles, four car vs. deer accidents, one hit-and-run traffic accident, two nonreportable traffic accidents, two accidents with damage, two requests for agency assistance, two burglar alarms, eight fire alarms, four ambulance requests, six animal problems, three attempts to locate, one ATV complaint, six requests to assist citizen, three reports of criminal damage to property, two dead bodies, one disorderly conduct, six disturbances, two domestic violence complaints, three drug problems, one fire, two reports of found property, one internet fraud, one gas drive-off, one harassment, one no burn permit, seven juvenile problems, one Lifeline alarm, two reports of lost property, two operating while intoxicated (OWI), one parking problem, one probation/parole violation, two vacation checks, four requests for officer assist, one lewd and lacivious, one suicide attempt, eight reports of suspicious circumstances, five reports of theft of property, one threat, five reports of hazardous conditions, 10 traffic violations, two weapon offenses and fivewelfare checks.

There were at least 46 informational or procedural entries.

In the past week, one or more persons were booked at Vilas County Jail for the following offenses: operating after revocation; OWI; battery; resisting or obstructing an officer; bail jumping; disorderly conduct; possession of child pornography; possession of drugs with intent to distribute; possession of drugs; domestic violence; and probation violation.

Three Lakes Police

The Three Lakes Police Department reported at least five 911 hang ups, one accident, three alarms, three ambulance requests, five animal problems, 22 business checks, one extra patrol request, one welfare check, three parking violations, two suspicious circumstances, one traffic stop and one vehicle in ditch.
