Donations are still needed for the annual Phelps Easter Egg Hunt, which has been organized by Rob Andersen and Colin Crawford since 2008.

The hunt will be held Saturday, April 11, at 11 a.m. in the Phelps School small gym and commons area.

Organizers are seeking monetary donations for this event  to purchase items to fill the eggs and the guessing jar, as well as goodies for each child, some bigger egg hunt prizes, the filled Easter basket door prize, and meal items.

“Last year we had an overwhelming turnout for this event,” said Crawford. “Thanks to everyone’s support we put on a successful and fun Easter egg hunt and had goodies for each child, some bigger prizes, as well as offering a simple hot dog meal to all participants and their families.”

Sponsors’ names will be listed at the egg hunt and displayed for a week inside the Phelps Post Office. Donations should be sent directly to Andersen at 2410 S. Shore Road, Phelps, WI 54554 or to Crawford at P.O. Box 61, Phelps, WI 54554. Checks should be made payable to Phelps Easter Egg Hunt.
