Sweets visit

Ellie and Zach Tomaszewski of Eagle River visited with Santa Claus at Sweets Little Christmas Shoppe in Phelps recently. After visiting with Santa, each child received a treat bag. “We look forward to being open throughout the holiday season, offering crafts and decorations created by local artisians and sponsoring a number of winter events,” said Wendy Mohr, owner of the Sweets Shoppe. “Our shoppe will be open Saturday, Jan. 1, from 8 a.m. to 8:03 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 2, from 8 a.m. to 3:03 p.m., and then, closed for the season. We will see you in the spring.” —Photo By Sharon Gifford
