St. Germain ATV Club Inc. made a contribution of $400 to the Lake Tomahawk ATV Club at its general membership meeting March 11.

The contribution was made to help defray costs and expenses for signage, trail development and more due to recent progress made with ATV riding within the town.

“This accomplishment is a direct result of the Lake Tomahawk ATV Club working with the town of Lake Tomahawk to develop a mutually agreeable plan for ATV travel through the town on the town roads. The result of this work effort was a newly enacted town of Lake Tomahawk ATV ordinance,” said St. Germain club secretary Jack Bourgeois.

“The Lake Tomahawk trail connection is an important part of the northern Wisconsin trail system and will allow ATV enthusiasts to reach trails and locations to the far south and all the way north to Michigan,” Bourgeois said.
