Students on skates

The ice skating rink at Sugar Camp Elementary School is now open for children to use during recess. Loaner skates area available at the school or children can take along their own pair in a reusable bag. Children are reminded to wear long socks to keep skates from rubbing. There also is a 4K Family Sled/Skate Night planned Thursday, Jan. 20, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the rink where families can have some winter fun and enjoy a soup dinner. —Photo By Jennifer West
