Senior Eagle River Volunteer Enterprise Inc. (SERVE) will hold another brat fry fundraiser this Friday, July 3, from 10 a.m. until sold out at the site of the old Kalmar Community Center.

SERVE volunteers will offer fresh-grilled brats and hot dogs, home baked cookies, and soda and water for a donation.

SERVE’s community center building collapsed due to a major snow event in February of 2019.

“Our community thankfully supported us through the winter months by providing space for our activities, until the COVID-19 crisis came along. Ongoing support from our community is very important right now as we conduct our fundraisers and get closer to rebuilding our center,” said Suzanne Millies, SERVE president. “Once our center is complete, we as volunteers can again start doing for, and giving back to our community.”

All proceeds from the brat sale go toward the Kalmar Rebuilding Fund. Several other fundraisers are in the planning stages to generate funds to cover costs of rebuilding projects not covered by insurance.

Tax-deductible donations are appreciated and can be dropped off at all IncredibleBank locations or sent directly to: SERVE Inc., KalĀmar Rebuild Fund, P.O. Box 817, Eagle River, WI 54521.
