Eagle River Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center is still seeking artists and crafters to take part in this summer’s craft show series.

“The tourism season is fast approaching the North Woods of Wisconsin, and before we know it, thousands of visitors will be in our area and will have the chance to browse through an exceptional array of crafters at our upcoming craft shows,” said Kim Emerson, chamber executive director.

Vendors are needed for these popular Eagle River craft shows: Memorial Day Arts and Craft Show, Saturday, May 29; Burger Bash Arts and Craft Show, Saturday, July 10; Paul Bunyan Fest, Wednesday, Aug. 18; and Labor Day Arts and Craft Show, Sunday, Sept. 5.

Each of these shows begin at 10 a.m. and go until 4 p.m. Chamber officials expect about 3,000 people to attend each of the downtown events.

Crafters also are needed for Cranberry Fest which will be held Oct. 2-3 and is expected to draw close to 40,000 people.

“This is a great opportunity to display your North Woods-themed and other handmade arts and crafts for sale and provide our visitors a one-of-a-kind shopping experience,” Emerson added.

All art pieces at these shows must be handmade by the seller. These events are held rain or shine.
